Let's find a cure for paralysis...

Sumari Blue is very proud to be able to donate two gift bags full of our hand-made or hand-poured goodies to the 'Small Steps Fundraising Dinner' to be held on Saturday, 11 May 2019.

Kurt Drysdale is the inspiration behind this event and a proud Ambassador of the Perry Cross Spinal Research Foundation. Money raised will support the Perry Cross Spinal Research Foundation (PCSRF) find a cure for paralysis for all. PCSRF funds critical spinal injury research at Griffith University where plans are underway for a human clinical trial. The therapy to be used in the trial was pioneered by 2017 Australian of the Year Emeritus Professor Alan Mackay-Sim.

My family has known Kurt and his family for 25 years and Kurt is such an inspiration - every time we see him he is smiling and ultra positive in his attitude. This is such a worthy cause to get behind - to cure paralysis. But research and trials are expensive. So to help raise money, there are heaps of fantastic auction items to bid on online or even just to make a donation - if you are interested, please go to their auction page: https://galabid.com/auction/cure.

Sumari Blue wishes nothing but success for the dinner and hope all fundraising targets are exceeded.
